It’s getting cold and the scholars at Statesmen Academy need our help.

SAVE THE DATE for our Carnival Coat Drive for Students at Statesmen Academy, Sunday November 21st, 2021 from 12-3pm.
 
We are kindly accepting NEW and gently used coats for boys sizes Youth 14-20 to Men’s M- 3XL.
 
If you’re unable to attend you can donate from now till December 3rd, 2021. Let’s Warm a Heart, It takes a Village. Donate. Fellowship. Eat & have fun!
 
Coats will be donated to the scholars at Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys.
 
The Association of Black Social Workers (ABSW) Metro DC Chapter have partnered with P.U.D., LLC – Together we do it better

The motivation behind this project is to help those who are less fortunate than they are. Furthermore, they want to give something back to the community that has given so much support for them over their four years at Statesmen Academy. This is done through donations of new or used coats for boys in need age 7-15, youth size 14-20.

The mission of Statesmen Academy is

“…to create a boy-friendly pedagogy-informed academic environment within which young men are equipped with the academic skills, social competencies, and personal development necessary to navigate life challenges, attend and complete the college of their choice, and return to become the premier agents of social change within and for the communities they serve.”
